To introduce our Canadian Repertoire page, we would like to feature a significant Canadian folk song and highlight arrangements at three levels. Many Canadians have sung or played “Land of the Silver Birch” during their school careers. This familiarity and the autumn nature of the melody make it a suitable selection as fall rehearsals resume.

 

Afin de vous présenter notre page de répertoire canadien, nous allons premièrement mettre en vedette une chanson folklorique canadienne importante et surligner des arrangements de celle- ci pour trois niveaux. Plusieurs canadiens et canadiennes ont chanté ou joué « Land of the Silver Birch » à l’école. L’aspect familier et automnale de cette mélodie ont facilité le choix de cette sélection pour le retour des répétitions d’ensembles.
